Afterwards I recommend journaling about what come up. How expansive was each direction? Did you get an answer to what you need? How do you feel afterwards? This will help getting used to listening to the body this way and allow you to reflect back on how it feels on different days.
I do this practice every single day. I never fails to make me feel more grounded.
